The establishment of Nandi Cooperative Creameries is rapidly approaching its final stages, signifying a promising transformation in the local dairy sector.

 

This exciting venture has already achieved remarkable progress, with significant accomplishments according to Nandi County Governor Stephen Sang.

“First and foremost, we're pleased to announce that all the necessary equipment for Nandi Cooperative Creameries has been delivered, setting the stage for the creamery's operational launch.” Sang said.

Sang said the installation process is almost complete having availed all the necessary equipment for the project.

 “The installation process is currently at an impressive 80% completion rate, thanks to the dedicated efforts of our skilled team of experts and technicians. This essential phase is essential to ensuring the seamless functioning of the creamery.” He added.

“The project team is actively engaged in finalizing crucial aspects, including the establishment of waste treatment facilities and other utilities. Furthermore, construction is underway for the structures that will house standby generators, a vital component ensuring uninterrupted power supply to the creamery.”

The project's timeline is well-defined, with the goal of concluding all remaining tasks within the next three months. Subsequently, equipment testing will commence, paving the way for the transition to full-scale dairy processing.
